It pains me to see that no one is posting to the forum. I would login at least once a day and see several new posts on the forum.
What has happen? Have we all hit a point were no one has something new to share or has life just caught up with all of us at the same time.

My situation is exactly what you have said.
😳 I hope to get back to Rule The Rail soon.

😉 March 27, 2007 at 10:05 am #1835AnonymousInactiveHi all Yes it has gone a bit quite. But at the moment I’m very busy sorting out a new track and it’s doing my head in. I’ll let ya know when I get is something like. But as I only got one reply to see my BT track. It seems that know one is bothered about other peoples stuff so maybe that’s why it has gone quite. Even the post about all joining in got hardly and response. I’m up for it and have started such a track. Any one interested?

That’s interesting, because preparing track does my head in too. The problem seems to be the geometry of the curves – just a little bit out, on my system, anyway. ‘Just a little bit’ seems to cause big problems.
I think that one of the things that spoils RTR, great though it is, is that we have to do work arounds to achieve something that could be done with a bit of scripting and some enhancements of the controls – like having a counter device included within a control.
Some of us may also be awaiting the wonderful new models that have been so painstakingly created by Willi etc – especially the platforms – plus further updates before proceeding with new layouts.
Also, a lot of the problems people may come across have already been sorted and their solutions written up in this forum.
I wonder if our expectations exceed those envisioned by BrainBombers when they started this ‘game’.
Cheers,
David
March 27, 2007 at 1:53 pm #1837AnonymousInactiveHi dpletts You having problems joining curves or tracks? I find that you can usually get them to join if the radius of the curve is going to go wider. I follow the track to the nearist curve and join it there. If the curve radius is going to go wider it will join when you know how to do this I find I can join almost any thing up using auto join. Also curves not right size? You can change radius with them little straight bits.

March 28, 2007 at 3:23 pm #1838AnonymousInactiveHi Dave, I don’t have problems with joining curves, I can usually find a place where everything magically works. However I don’t think we should have to make do and mend when it comes to curve geometry – although its no doubt too late for BB to do anything about it. Yes, we can add little bits of track where necessary, but that work round shouldn’t really be necessary at all. Perhaps BB might think of doing another version of RTR with more accurate curves so that curves of different radii would work together. That improvement would, of course, make every layout so far made incompatible with a new version – so I think its a lost cause. Flexible track would help, though, even if it was only adjustable radii.
I wonder if these small problems contribute to the poor uptake of the registered version (BB wrote about the poor uptake a little while ago – maybe things are different now – hope so, because I would like to see RTR developed a lot further and nobody is going to flog a dead horse for too long).
Cheers,
David
March 29, 2007 at 7:55 pm #1839AnonymousInactiveHi all, Is it here the status of forum or it was time to begin discuse again after these problems of this forumssite? Or was i too sleepy to see any new in this time?
@Don,it´s the right time to ask for this status
😉 @David,Willi´s models are´nt ready to launch yet because 1.5 is (maybe) beta
🙄 @Alex,looks like so that no one has any news to share. but soon
😉 June 16, 2007 at 11:04 am #1840AnonymousInactiveIt pains me to see that Brainbom is not posting to the forum. What has happen? Have we hit a point were BrainBom has become overworked by all of the new Ideas causing a meltdown.
Any ideas of a date for a new extension pack or version release?

June 16, 2007 at 12:31 pm #1841AnonymousInactiveHi Don, My questions are also not answerd how and when Brainbom announce the next expansionpack and 1.5 of RTR.
And how to get implemented new models for RTR,because the passwordprotection of all models in RTR 😥 -
