    Hi everyone,

I looked through the source code of alanti’s previous post and found these image links for the new Layout WIP:

    Image 1 – Day Shift

    Image 2 – Night Shift

    Image 3

The links are well worth following as alanti has done a wonderful job with this layout.

Cool pictures. It takes a long time to put all the details in nice job. I like the dudes chilling in the front garden.

    Thanks Dave

Hi guys, thanks for the comments :D Yes I like to put in as much detail as I can. That is why I usually create small layouts, so that I can concentrate on the finer points. :)

A couple more shots, click on the thumbnail to see a larger image

    Hi everyone,

Am I the only one that can’t see the image links in alanti’s posts without having to look at the source?

    Hi chris,

If i move the mouse cursor to the pics from the layout then the footline of my browser shows me up the link where the pic is. My browser is Morzilla Seamonkey or/nd firefox 2.0

    I hope that helps 😉

    Chris

They come up in a new window, maybe even two windows, with ads. Maybe a popup blocker is getting in the way. Just a guess

    Hi Peter and Roger,

I haven’t even seen the links in his posts. I’ve just recently upgraded to IE7 and I do have popups blocked.

    Thanks for the info.

    Hi chris,

IE7 enables tabbed browsing. If you set “open new site in new Tab” you dont have disable the pop up blocker. 8) 😉

Got most of the buildings in place now. Just got to work on the details and textures.

I hope that the problem with the links gets sorted. I have been checking and I can see the thumbnails in Firefox, IE6 and Opera Portable, so I am not sure what it could be :?

    Hi alanti,

The images of your layout are well worth digging out of the source code to view so don’t worry too much. I’ve read that WinXP users will be force fed IE7 so I’d be curious to hear from other IE users if they experience the same problems.

In the meantime, I’m grabbing a copy of Mozilla.

    Best regards, Chris

    Hi alanti,

That’s quite an impressive layout. Now if I can only find some time to get back to building my own in order to share more than just my test layouts. :(
