Need terrain tool help

Hi

Looks like a very quiet forum, only hope that someone will read this and maybe help me out. The instructional manual is quite vague when it comes to terrain layouts. Is there a better guide for editing terrain? This section covers one item, tunnels, the other topic isn’t relative here. My biggest question is this:

Once I use the relief tool to raise or lower the terrain, how do I flatten it again if I am not satisfied with the results?

Thanks for any help, I like the game a lot but I’m learning the stuff that’s not clear in the manual through trial and error, mostly.

Kinda thought no one would answer but I found the answer myself. I used the platform tool, put it on the original flat area right next to where the relief (rise) starts, held down the left mouse button and dragged the red circle over the elevated area and it flattened right out again. Here I tried for hours to get the area flat again using the relief tool, impossible to do unless you spend a lot of time on it.
