Mouse Freezing with Movement

Hi guys

I too am having issues, although i am running a 15 x 15 layout (which i know is large).

Running Windows XP Home SP3

AMD Sempron 2200+

1.49 Ghz 15.Gb RAM

AVG

Start ROA program from Layout Viewer

All Extension packs installed.

ROA File size is 20MB.

NVidia Hardware

Total Available Graphics 256MB

Dedicated Vidoe Memory 256MB

Direct X 9.0c

GEForce FX 5500

PS2 Mouse

Yes the trains are sluggish, that i can cope with. There are very few objects, but some high mountains and a high plateau,

but the mouse is also sluggish and grabs….I have to wait for several seconds when:

1. i delete a piece of track

2. i move a piece of track or severl pieces

3. on higlighting several pieces of track, the mouse grabs and have to wait again

So while designing track and adjusting it, there is this almighty period of wasted time.

Can anyone advise please.

This normal with a big layout. I did one and it was about 15 seconds for the thing to catch up. RTR seems to be a hungry beast with comp resources.
