    Brainbom

This looks great just downloaded it and ran all of the demos that you have included.

I love the animated people and animals. Just wish I could use them in RTR 1.21.

    :P Great Googley-Mooglies!!!!

Ya’ll have done it again. This company and its software still

remain one of the best values and best supported. Will you be

listing the differences between IH and RTR? Although it would

be just as fun finding them as I stumble along.

    Thanks for Iron Horses!

The functionality is similar (but Rule the Rail! does not have music), and will be even closer when we release Rule the Rail! 1.3. There is a big difference between the sets of objects, but that is obvious.

So far its great, I do like the way you can make it bigger, I have tried 15×1 and then made it 30 x1 and it all works.

You are on a winner there.

    How large will it go.

How large is my video card.

How long is a peice of string.

    Sorry it’s not a question.

    Well done.

Fabulous! Love the animated stuff and I bet there’s a lot more to find out. I believe in Demo 5 I somewhere heard a loud bang, prolly a bandit trying his 6-shooter :D

    Thanks again, Brainbomb

Many thanks for making it free for registered users – it’s like a whole new bonus program!

One teeny-weeny glitch I noticed is that the music sometimes stalls slightly on my machine while holding down a mouse button to move the camera. It’s not a big issue (it’s not a low spec PC either) but I thought I’d mention it.

Thanks again for lots more stuff to play with :)

I would love to play IH. I am a registered user. However, the file, I noticed is about 17 MB. That would take from 2-3 hours to download on my machine. Would someone please send me a fully downloaded file of IH to this email address?: kw2957@aol.com.

Thank you brainbom and everyone else who has contributed to RTR and IH.

Whether you’re downloading the file, or downloading an email with the file attached, it will still take the same amount of time.

Unless several people decide to email you the file, in which case your connection may be busy for the next five days.

Not forgetting people’s upload speeds are far lower than their download speeds. Even people on cable may only be able to upload (i.e. send you an email) at the same speed that you can download.

I’m not even sure a file of that size wouldn’t be blocked by most ISPs.

Alright, thanks anyway Governor. That information will help in the future.

One possible option you might consider is having a friend with a high speed connection and a C.D. burner download it and burn it to a C.D. for you. My download time is slow because of where I live (middle of nowhere, and no cable or DSL available), but I can download from a C.D. about a hundred times faster than I can from the web.

i just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely diverstiy of plants and buildings and critters and people.

i too would like very much to be able to or see them combined with the more modern motive power and rolling stock of rtr.

i grew up in a town full of false front buildings like those in ih, well into the modern era of all deisel and electric traction with steam already long gone.

also the indiginous people who lived there had not ever used skin houses (teepees) but did build circular and sometimes conical structures out of bark and slabs of wood. they did not wear feather head dresses but make and wear a kind of sweatband with a tail on it with porcupine quills.

the teepee is of the nomadic cultures of the central plains and what is now grain growing country.

the southwest looking rock formations are fine but it would be nice to have the rocks from rtr AND the ones from ih to be able to use togather.

as always i would like to see and have more then i can afford.

what you’ve given us is the best $15 bucks i’ve ever spent in my life, so i absolutely can’t and won’t complain.

i just wish i could have the plants, people, buildings even some of the older 8 wheel rolling stock of ih IN rtr or the engines, mu and locomotive hauled passinger stock of rtr IN ih.

    =^^=
