I stumbled upon Rule the Rail, and all it took was my son’s happy cries as he saw “Thomas”! This is fantastic! I don’t really have the time or space for my old N Scale layout, but this I can take on my laptop!

Now all I want to know is what format 3D models you use! (My hobby)

From what I know the 3d format that they use is .xil

Many use ac3d to create thier additions for the program

Welcome to the forum. Mainly We are using AC3D to make the models. Personally i use Blender to convert and justage the models. The format of Models is ###.x and for skins ###.dds(defined in ###.x The definitonfile is ###.xli(this file binds all model- and skinfiles to RTR.exe.) But one more,the models are all passwordprotected. And i dont know,that Brainbom would give a very mighty program out his hands.
