Sorry guys, me again. Just a few questions about RtR coz I’m thick. 1. On my Analogue layout, with 1 Power supply connected, why does my train not
play correctly? eg. Runs to the power connector, dances and stops, until I
reverse the power switch. Also in RED up top it reads ‘shortcut!’
Track looks fine to me! POLARITY ???
2. REVERSING, digital train. HUH ??? Analogue for thickies like me, until I understand.
3. Track/Layout pieces? Do I have all types? Is the – ( 3 x curves + 3 x straights +
L/R Switches + 1 x Bumper) – in the builder, all we have? I’m not complaining though.
Is it OK to un-install and re-install RtR, just in case I’ve missed something. Does my P/word
re-activate the software or, must I do something else first?
I have re-read the manual, perhaps too hastely though.
4. Can BB’s, or the Gov.O/W come up with some better crossing gates? The flimsy ones I
have mean I have to miss the action elsewhere whilst squinting at my ‘TINY BOOMS’
As a kid I was fascinated by the old ‘(4)hinge-gates’ type in Old Britain.
5, Please, just a tad more speed? Ohh, come on, just a bit…
6. Also, bridges. Are there any. The auto-bridge is fine but…the Tower Bridge or…
…you get my point.
I’ve noticed that the ‘TINY’ track pieces used by the ‘CONNECTOR-function’ are very
useful to copy’n’paste into a row of 5 or 6, for any track gaps during the build.
Very Good BB’s, thanks for bombing my brain.

❗ : 💡 ➡ November 23, 2006 at 12:00 pm #1158AnonymousInactiveIf you have a switch connected to a loop you gota put an isolator in your loop best just after the switch. This should stop shortcut message. You will also have to reverse the polaraty of the power supply for the train to continue. It is best to isolate the loop compleatly and to have it’s own power supply. Hope this helps

😉 December 14, 2006 at 11:50 am #1163AnonymousInactiveHi Unger, I have prepared a couple of analogue loop examples for you to look at if you want. Download from
http://hometown.aol.co.uk/dpletts/revloops.roahttp://hometown.aol.co.uk/dpletts/revloops.roa” class=”bbcode_url”> You’ve probably worked this out by now, though.
Cheers,
David
