Hi RTR friends, My first skinning is done. I have created a Swiss oldtimer passenger train with a steam loco. Of course they are not accurate models of the prototype because I had to use the models that are in RTR. But I think it doesn’t look bad:

October 2, 2006 at 7:14 pm #867AnonymousInactiveHi all RTR fans and brainbom, I´d take a look on it,before Willi Posted it.
That is a good beginning for the EU and Swiss rolling stock, oldy or modern.
If Willi has the exact models then Willi can skin them accurately. This work in his post is truely not bad.

October 3, 2006 at 2:19 am #870AnonymousInactiveWilli, A very nice job indeed. Thanks for taking the time and effort to come up with these textures. I surely hope we’ll see them in a future extension pack.
Well done.
Best regards, Chris
October 6, 2006 at 7:01 pm #871AnonymousInactiveHi RTR friends, I’m glad that you like my work. Today, I have made some final “fine-tuning” on the textures, mainly on the lettering, and sent them to BrainBombers.
Now let’s hope that my Swiss oldtimer train will be included in the next extension pack.
😉 Best regards,
Willi
P.S. Some of you may know, that I have started with 3D models for Rule The Rail. You can take a look at the progress here:

That building would fit nicely into a North American scenario as well.
Nice job!
Have you received info from them concerning technical design, etc? How do you place a structure into RtR to validate it?Best regards, Chris
October 21, 2006 at 6:05 pm #873AnonymousInactiveHi Chris, Sorry, I havn’t seen this question until you told me about by email. I think, in the meantime the question is answered:
.http://brainbombers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=378http://brainbombers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=378” class=”bbcode_url”> Btw, BrainBombers told me, that the Swiss Oldtimer Train will be included in the next extension pack. I’m looking forward to it and hope others will also do.
Best regards,
Willi
