Hi Brainbombers! Just got the game a few weeks ago and ive been working like crazy on it on my wish list is some more track pieces. I have Listed some examples:
A straight the same length as a point
Ready made crossover sections
Y shaped Points
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
A TURNTABLE!!!!!!!!!
I am currently making a replica of the RH&DR Railway And I need Them Parts. If i get the project complete i will send it in.

I’m not sure about ready-made crossovers, as the software already allows you to make them at any angle, although I agree that Y-points would be useful and wouldn’t mind seeing some curved points, too.
On the subject of curves, one or two wider radii would be good for larger layouts, to make some really big, sweeping bends.
A turntable would be really neat, but I’m not sure how you could implement it easily. More engine ID’s would be good, too.
Like many other people, I would really like to see a multi-level “Undo” button and another thing that might be handy is a “freeze” button, which stops everything dead on the first click and restores the power settings on a second one.

January 22, 2008 at 3:01 pm #674AnonymousInactiveHi, some time ago I bought ‘Modellismo Ferroviario 3D’, the italian version of RTR, and I found it great!
Years ago I ‘played’ with a real model ( 7 trains, 2 stations and some cross ) fully automated and controlled via relays and wired logic.
RTR is really great and lets be very creative all of as, expecially from the ‘artistic’ point of view, however I miss some stuff (tracks and controls).
The following is a list of suggestions to enhance this ‘game’.
Tracks:
more curves, possibly with the capability to build parallel tracks
‘real’ crossovers detecting train collision
more important double-slips
optional three-way point
Controls:
combine the controls with ‘logical’ operator NOT, AND, OR, …

January 23, 2008 at 4:58 pm #676AnonymousInactiveHello fellow railroaders, Like Paolo , i just bought my copy of rule the rails (modelspoorbaan 2008(DUTCH)).
I love the simulation / game. I already spent quite a few hours designing new layouts.
The only thing im missing so far is a 45′ curved switch (left and right).
Im plannig a regional railroad and i have the white papers of the layout of this track. Unfortunatly it has several curved switches allong the track.
It would be great to have these switches.

@Tom`SSG´ We can model such a switch but we don´t know,is the train fellows the tracks,only Brainbom can answer this question.

February 5, 2008 at 5:24 pm #679AnonymousInactiveHi SSG, It´s not so difficult to model a bow switch or double slip or other diameters of curves,implementing the function of that is the problem.
